About the Journal

Journal of Language Pedagogy and Linguistics (JLPL) is an international, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance knowledge and promote research studies in the fields of language teaching and Linguistics. JLPL does not charge any submission fees, additional publication fees, or APCs. Adhering to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), JLPL ensures that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without any charge. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, or use them for any lawful purpose without needing prior permission from the publisher or authors if they cite the studies appropriately.

JLPL is published annually in November. Yet, JLPL offers immediate open access to its content, which reflects its commitment to fostering global knowledge exchange and collaboration. Accepted articles are published online-first and included in subsequent issues to ensure timely dissemination of scholarly contributions. A DOI will be assigned once a manuscript is accepted for publication. The journal publishes research articles and conceptual and review papers (limited to 20% of the total content in any volume). 

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary perspectives that bridge research and practice, emphasizing innovative approaches, rigorous methodologies, and practical implications for Applied Linguistics and Linguistics at all levels. JLPL seeks to foster dialogue among scholars and practitioners by publishing studies that address contemporary issues regarding language pedagogy and propose evidence-based solutions applicable across diverse cultural and educational settings.
